Forerunner Records branding live brief

Currently i have been given to design logos and record sleeves.Forerunner Records is a record label which is going to be part of the FEED brand(in my college - Mathew Boulton College).This is part of my sketchbook.The final logo and sleeve design to be posted shortly.

"With CD packaging,like magazines,books etc,the design is experienced through time and interaction.Ideas can be revealed as a narrative.I don't have a problem with this.I don't want to see everything at once;I don't want to see the end of a film at the same time as the beginning"

My personal sketchbook

These are some of the works from my personal sketchbook that i want to develop in illustrator.

I was inspired by image from internet to sketch this.It is an image of a woman made of male's sperm.


I called this one 'View from the wheel'.Birmingham view from top of the wheel which we used to have by the centenary square.It is just abstractive.


This one is to show the way from Birmingham to Coventry in an abstractive way.It is part of my journey that i have experienced on the way to Coventry.


I used this simply sketched font to describe the poster that shows negative effect of smoking.



This one is for the poster/advertisiment with regard to smoking.Especially,to show the negative impact of smoking on the womb before born.

Colour themes

I was experimenting with different colours and textures by manipulating this envelope.I scanned and played with it in illustrator.It gives me the opportunity to learn on how to get differnt colours from a single image.Thanks for the interior branding live brief.These could be an image on the wall.
