HYBRID - Semiotica and signs

Basically,at the beginning I was not quite sure what my final piece of work would look like.However,after studying Dada and typographic illustration by the likes of David Carson I decided to create artwork only using type.My Illustration is made out of collaged papers that are full of type.It is a kind of sculpture,which is built from different typographic characters.The type elements are collections of various forms of semiotics and signs that I came across whilst visiting Birmingham,Manchester and Salford.I am trying to express the subject of 'Hybrid' using the type and similarities from all three cities.
